Gender is a Continuum

It's a significant point, but often overlooked, that there is a greater variation of thought and behavior within the sexes than between them. The areas of overlap, the transgendered turf, is quite broad and resists the male/female breakdown into neat categories. That said, there DO appear to be differences in cultures, if you will, between the male end of the continuum, the female end of the continuum, and the ill-defined trans-gender/ition space between.
