A Thought on Leadership

Leadership is recognizing and respecting the diversity of all those involved. Realizing that each has an agenda, separate from yours, and each is willing to expend different resources. A leader accepts that some do not wish to lead; some wish responsibility only for themselves. To lead, one must become each of those involved, and furnish them what is desired and needed for them to successfully complete their portion of the whole. Always remembering the differences, not only the similarities that bind you together.
