There are a number of general terms, that are also used, that refer to kami or have to do with kami.
ai (inter-, mutual, together)
dono (hall, mansion, palace, temple) aidono (enshrinement of two or more kami in one building of a shrine, shrine building dedicated to two or more kami) no (possesive particle) kami (that which inspires feelings of reverence, awe, gratitude, fear/terror) ❖ When several kami are enshrined in the same honden, subordinate altars are called aidono, and kami enshrined upon them are called aidono-no-kami
