ComicsThe Jazz of Literature is an annual project that is open year round.
We are asking creators to make a comic work that somehow reflects the idea Comics are Jazz and donate it to the project. In return, we will publish an anthology of the best material we are sent and give the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund 10% of the cover price of each unit sold.
Because we use printing-on-demand, all editions of ComicsThe Jazz of Literature will always be in print, so your work will go on supporting the CBLDF as long as possible.
Creators aren't competing to get in. The limit of any single volume is about 700 pages and what we think people will pay. If we feel like we need to expand the volume to get your work in, we'll do it; but please understand there is a practical limit, and we'll make some decisions based on our own tastes and interests.
Please use the same considerations when thinking about the length of your submission.
Note: A year runs from: Jan. 1st to: Jan. 1st.
(i.e. The 2001 volume is collecting from 01/01/2001 to 01/01/2002.)
