A US adman and newspaper reporter; later he became a screenwriter. He wrote a number of adventure stories for the sf pulp magazines of the thirties and early forties. The Radium Pool was his first novel; published in 1929 in the magazine: Science Wonder Stories.

Most of his books were in the western genre.
