Emil Petaja

A US writer of Finnish descent. Most of his early writings were in the fantasy genre. A number of his books are based on the Finnish prose epic—The Kalevala.

He founded the Bokanalia Foundation in 1967 after his friend's, Hannes Bok, death.

He has also published a book of poetry—As Dream and Shadow.
