Neo-Paganism & Wicca 201: Mentoring Elders just added a new section that might interest the authors among you. It's a "fairy" tale outline generator based on the work of Vladimir Propp in his book "Morphology of the Folktale" (University of Texas Press, Austin, Texas, 1968). In short, it creates an outline for an authentic folktale based on the form and structure of the Russian "fairy" tale. There's a whole lot more to it than that, but I don't want to go into it here — check out the link.

Just got back from my 'festival' vacation… now I need vacation to recover! Any way, to make a long story even longer (don't forget more tedious and boring) I got to talking about neopagan studies and literature with Murphy—an instructor/student from the U of W-Milwaukee. The upshot of all this is that she agreed to help keep us abreast of the academic books that are being published. So without further ado, here's Murphy's List.
